Elays Sports Zone launched in 2020 to offer young people an opportunity to meet up with friends again in a safe environment after 12 weeks of lockdown. Activities including football, badminton, basketball, table tennis, athletics, were an ideal way of engaging young people again. More than just physical benefits for children who participated; it had the power to revolutionize young minds in many ways, helping them deal better with the emotional aspects of the current climate. The Elays Summer Sports Zone was a success and we will be looking forward to meeting more young children within the community over the school half terms and summer holidays.
